What is a dual column Supplement Facts panel?

A dual column Supplement Facts panel displays nutrition information in two or more columns side by side. This format is required by the FDA when a product has multiple serving sizes (e.g., "per serving" and "per container") or is intended for different population groups such as adults and children under 4.

Under 21 CFR 101.9(b), dual-column labeling is mandatory for packages containing between 1 and 2 servings. The columns must display consistent formatting with identical nutrients in the same order.
